The short version: we collect almost nothing about you ourselves. What is collected comes from Google’s advertising and from ordinary hosting logs, and this page says exactly what that means.

What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts on this site, no newsletter, no contact form, and comments are switched off. We do not run analytics — no Google Analytics, no tracking pixel, no session recording. We do not build profiles of readers and we have nothing to sell to anyone.
The one form on the site is the search box, which passes your search term to this site only.
Advertising
This site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense (publisher
ca-pub-1421094021464179). Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to
serve and measure ads, and in some cases to personalise them. That data is held by Google, not by us,
and we cannot see, export or delete it on your behalf.

- You can change or switch off personalised advertising at My Ad Center. That takes effect immediately and does not depend on us.
Hosting and the network
The site runs on shared hosting and passes through Cloudflare, which sits in front of it for security and speed. Both keep ordinary server logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser string — which exist to run and protect the site and are not used to profile readers.
Affiliate links
Some pages carry affiliate links. If you book or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are marked as sponsored, and the page carrying them says so. The merchant may set its own cookie when you follow one; that is their processing, under their policy. Our comparison articles carry these links; the everyday practical guides do not.
Images
Photographs are hosted on this site rather than loaded from third parties, so viewing a page does not report you to an image host. Credits and licences are printed beneath each photograph.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and similar laws you may ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Because we hold no personal data ourselves, most such requests are properly addressed to Google, whose advertising data this is. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
How to make a request — and what this address is not for
Access Prague is a self-service site. There is no support desk, no enquiries address and no correspondence: we publish articles, and that is the whole service. We do not answer questions about Prague, we cannot check your particular situation, and we do not take requests for coverage, links, guest posts or advertising.
For the one thing that legally requires a route to us — a request about your own data — write to privacy [at] accessprague.com. That mailbox is read for data-protection requests only, and anything else sent to it is deleted unread.
Before writing, note that the two fastest routes are not us at all:
- Advertising data is held by Google, and the settings linked above change it directly and immediately.
- Cookies can be cleared or blocked in your own browser at any time, for this site and every other.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it. Access Prague is an independent publisher with no corporate parent and no investor.
